The damper is a special flywheel assembled on the front end of the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and is designed to absorb torsional and bending vibrations of the crankshaft.
The damper can reduce the crankshaft noise and is coupled with a gear wheel for injection timing control and with engine service pulleys.
Dampers design, testing and manufacturing stem from the many years of leadership in Italian and European damper applications market of CTM Cinotto, the first Italian dampers producer.
